"The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary." ~ H.L. Mencken
“Pizzagate” Conspiracy Theory Prompts Gunman to “Self-Investigate” Pizza Parlor

Vox Day’s take: “So, we're supposed to believe that he went there ‘investigating’ with an assault rifle, and fired one shot into the floor at no one? That sounds totally credible. It actually raises the question: who hired Edgar Maddison Welch to play the part of an armed and dangerous conspiracy theorist? He's a failed actor listed on IMDB. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Alefantis himself hired the guy to ‘attack’
his own restaurant.”
