"First they came for the Communists,
and I didn’t speak up,
because I wasn’t a Communist.
Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn’t speak up,
because I wasn’t a Jew.
Then they came for the Catholics,
and I didn’t speak up,
because I was a Protestant.
Then they came for me,
and by that time there was no one
left to speak up for me."

Submitted by Emmett Harris on Tue, 2014-01-14 00:00
“Losing the benefits has prompted some to take lower-paying jobs they might have turned down before.” If someone is getting paid (with money looted from others, let's not forget) to do nothing, or to wait for the “perfect job” to come along, why would it be surprising that they would seek some sort of employment once the spigot is turned off?
