What Strike The Root Does and Means

Governments seek and maintain power over people. That is why they exist. History has only shown a very few examples of governments that were temporarily beneficial to the people. The vast overwhelming majority of governments throughout history, including every government on the face of the Earth today, exist only to use people as a means of governmental survival and expansion.

In order to grow even stronger at the expense of the people, people who are their victims, they offer all kinds of distractions in the form of shows and entertainment to keep the people mesmerized and complacent. From hour after hour of mind-numbing sports, 'reality' shows and sit-coms, to a somewhat higher level distraction, yet more deluding, the election. With the election, governments give the sheeple a genuine sense that they are in control of society and their own destiny. Nothing could be further from the truth!

The most hypocritical form of government is the so-called democracy. According to Webster's Desk Dictionary, a democracy is a 'government in which supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them or their elected representatives.' Is this what we have today in America? Is this even practical? I believe democracy may have been possible in ancient Greece, before the advent of mass media, but certainly not in the world today.

What we see before our very eyes on a daily basis, and what we and our children and grandchildren are suffering under, is not democracy, but plutocracy. It is a government staffed with wealthy people who are bought by wealthier and more powerful groups of people with special interests. These groups are called lobbies. The prime example of a disgustingly powerful lobby that has the political plutocrats of both parties running scared is the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. AIPAC calls the shots for America's foreign policy in the Middle East. It's not 'the people' that the politicians/plutocrats are listening to when it comes to very important life or death questions and issues involving the Middle East, it is AIPAC. Even a US Senator, Ernest Hollings of South Carolina, admitted this truth on the floor of the US Senate on May 20, 2004 when he said, "You can't have an Israel policy other than what AIPAC gives you around here."

It is this cowardly pandering by the plutocrats to AIPAC that is the real cause for America and Americans being a target of Islamic Jihadists. For an in-depth look at why we are currently at war with the Islamic Jihadists of the world, read Imperial Hubris by Michael Scheuer and/or A Pretext For War by James Bamford.

Many well-intentioned people say, 'Vote the bums out!', not realizing voting in the plutocrats from the other party accomplishes absolutely nothing. The two-party system is no good because the plutocrats who make up both parties are no good. It's like trying to decide if you want Al Capone or Bugsy Siegel to rule over you and yours, with the only difference being the plutocrats are much more hypocritical than the open gangsters!

It could be that Americans are starting to realize what a scam democracy really is. In the elections held Tuesday in Florida, only one in five eligible voters actually bothered to vote! This is great news for people everywhere! What if they gave an election and nobody came?!

Even though the very low voter turnout is encouraging for all freedom loving people of the world, we need to keep a clear head and realize the machine will not give up easily. One of the plutocrats made this crystal clear. Ben Nelson, a US Senator from Nebraska, said on FOX News on July 21, 2006, that if the wrong people are elected, 'the government monopoly on the military' would be used to remove them. This completely nullifies all the BS the government and media spew out about democracy and the American way! It reinforces the FACT that the politicians are nothing but hypocritical gangsters who think nothing of using whatever means necessary to remain in power. This is why those brave men and women who started the American REPUBLIC used guns and violence to overthrow the government that was ruling over them. The government offers no other alternative.

A powerful example of what the government really thinks of democracy is revealed in the way the US treats the government elected by the Palestinian people. When the Palestinians elected Hamas candidates, the neocons operating in the US and Israel went nuts! They quickly came up with a way to smash the new democracy. They wrote the Palestinian Anti-Terrorism Act which is designed to 'cut off the Palestinian Authority until its Hamas government is removed . . .' http://www.jta.org/page_view_story.asp?intarticleid=17021&intcategoryid=3 If Americans ever tried to shake off the current gang of neocons and political whores, we would face the same kind of raw power to smash us. As the Senator said, the military would be used to remove us. Isn't democracy great!
