"The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary." ~ H.L. Mencken
What PBS Likes to Hide

Potentially a long list, of course. But in Censored by PBS, out today as the latest ZGBlog, I show a few recent actual examples. Enjoy.

Fascinating. In a similar vein, I have posted on occasion to NPR's blog, only to discover posts quickly removed, apparently by a live censor. It seemed to me that they retain most of the lefty comments, as well as any other comments that make people look like a kook or jerk (i.e. typically under-informed righties). Any of my reasonably well-argued, non-inflammatory comments were quickly deleted.
Interesting point about them being state-funded, so in a sense this is real censorship.
