Do You Want Peace? Then Work for Justice

Recently I was traveling down the highways and noticed a bumper sticker that had a profound message on it: "If you want peace . . . then work for justice." And how true it is! Think about it. WHY would anyone strap a bomb on themselves and go and blow up a bunch of people that they don't even know? Does it take a major in rocket science to figure this out?

Think about the old adage, "Violence begets violence." If William Jefferson Clinton can order a cruise missile attack against an aspirin factory in the Sudan and in the process manages to kill a dozen or few dozen or maybe hundreds of innocent factory workers, what can be expected from the RELATIVES of those people? I have often said that if it were I who had lost a wife or son or loved one to foreign government violence, that I would be looking to repay the perpetrators. Who wouldn't? It appears that it is normal human behavior to want to repay violence with violence. Most folks aren't going to go to the perpetrators and say, "Oh, gee, I see you missed your target and blew up my family, I forgive you."

You can look all over the world and in our own back yard and see how much of the violence that is called war is caused by someone wanting to "repay" someone else. The saddest part is that the people you would least expect it from the writings of their Bible are the ones who are the first to get behind someone who is obviously no better than a common criminal when it comes to killing indiscriminately. Who might that be? Why, George W. Bush for one. He is willing to send to die anyone he can so that his cohorts in crime can take control of the oil fields of Iraq and anywhere else in their path for world conquest. After all, he is on a "mission for God." I just wish this was a bad "Blues Brothers" remake instead of reality. All George has to do is say "I'm a born again Christian" and the masses of so-called "Christianity" are willing to jump up and support someone who is a member of the Skull And Bones Society and who knows what else.

Not that Kerry or any other "politician" would be better. Except maybe Ron Paul. Oh, I am sure there are a few others, but they aren't a member of the "good ol' boy" network.

As long as the people are willing to get behind a man who lies to get his way, we are going to have "terrorism" in our world. And it isn't just us. Look at who is being "terrorized" and you will see a people who most likely support a government who is violently suppressing a group of people.

Let's take a look at a few . . .

Israel: violently oppresses the Palestinians, who respond with suicide bombers since they don't have the backing of Apache helicopters. Russia: violently oppresses Chechens' efforts to free themselves from Russian dominance, then Russians have innocent children end up dead. USA: is now violently oppressing civilians in Afghanistan and Iraq. What are we to expect? Personally, I have to wonder WHY we as a nation haven't had a lot more women and children killed by "terrorism" then we have. I for one was expecting it a lot sooner than September 11, 2001. And I am wondering why there hasn't been ANY since. It sure isn't because of the great ones in the District of Criminals "protecting" us, that is for darn sure.

One ex-Marine told me that we "have to fight them over there" before we have to fight them here. My question to him was: "How are 'they' supposed to get here? By rowboat? They have no effective way to get here en mass to cause any harm to any of us. They would have to get so ticked off at us that they would have to figure out a way to get here as individuals to cause us any harm. And most likely if they have an IQ of at least 25, the easiest way to get here would be to get to Mexico first and then just waltz across our border.

Have you ever wondered what would happen if just 40 Iraqis managed to get here and broke up into groups of two and went to 20 major cities and started doing what those maniacs in the Washington, DC area did a few years back?

Me? I think there is a reason behind all of this. That reason is economic, of course. If you don't have enemies, well, you have to make some so you can keep your trillions of dollars in war machines being produced. And since you aren't going to go do the fighting, why worry. The unwashed dumb sheep masses are willing to rah rah each other into a frenzied war dance so that you can sell your products of death as you send THEIR children off to die for what?

Why can't they use the money from just a few cruise missiles to fix the lousy roads around here?

Do you think that is ever going to happen?
