Oops -- I Started a War!

The two recently released reports on 'intelligence' put out by the US and British governments show what total disdain the government and its politicians have for the common person.

Both reports openly state that the excuses to start the war, WMD and ties to al Qaeda, were based on bad information. The excuses are false. Why would the politicians and government 'leaders' be so careless about something so painful and deadly? Are we to believe the government when it tells us through its media that it's just a coincidence that so much bad intelligence was believed by so many government officials and politicians?

We now know through various sources, that Bush wants to be reelected and that in order for that to happen, he needs the backing of the Jewish vote which is greatly influenced by Israel's lobby, the America Israel Public Affairs Committee. At the heart of AIPAC is a deep concern for Israel's security, which Bush was only too happy to satisfy with a war.

While Bush was talking about mushroom clouds and about Iraq being able to launch an attack within 45 minutes, the majority of politicians were applauding him. They all drink from the same trough.

It's an awful thing to cause so much death and misery as the politicians did when they launched the unnecessary war in Iraq. But to demonstrate just how little the politicians think of those who they are sending into death's jaws, those who the hypocrites call 'heros' and 'America's best' for public consumption, all we have to do is read a Reuter's article.

The 'evidence' of Iraq's WMD and ties to terrorists is allegedly in a report known as the National Intelligence Estimate that is written by the CIA for the policy makers/politicians. We don't know what is actually in it, as Bush has refused to make it public. But the Reuter's article openly states George W. Bush and the politicians, including John Kerry, who voted to send over 100,000 American men and women to fight and die in Iraq, did not even take the time to read the 90 page NIE (National Intelligence Estimate) report!!! What do they care, it's not their lives that are being put on the line! They don't have sons or daughters that will be suffering the trauma and horrors of war for the benefit of political careers and the security of a foreign country!

With the war pigs cranking up the war machine to clear the Middle East of Israel's enemies, and to solidify their political careers, we, the common people, need to prepare ourselves to resist this insanity. Search out anti-war groups such as www.stopthedraftnow.com and www.bringthemhomenow.org and get involved in the resistance. Or, start your own resistance actions or organization. We have only ourselves to defeat them!
