" shoot the nullifiers and hang the rest" There is a possibility that this will be a reality here if the nation keeps its present course. I know a lot of flabber goes on here about the government and I can't agree more, but flabber is not going to resolve the issue of a corrupt government. Goals are reached one step at a time, and one step at a time is implicit, and explicit about the fact of action. One person on this site offers a plan. I don't readily agree with it because it will probably will never ever happen but there is the possiblity that it could but by that time the whole structure of government will morph into something else and not the something everyone here idealizes. When the change occurs the plan becomes nothing more than a futile exercise in academics; a hope, a dream and aspiration with no action. All the -isms and -ologies here are businesses in effect, they are alternate forms of government which requires planing. Where are the plans?
I believe the time has been reached where personal ideology must become more than an ideology; it must rise up and become an action. Will this happen? I does not look as if it will. Those whom sit in their rubber rafts and float around here (including me) will soon subcome to a shark attack, the raft will deflate and the bystander will be consumed literally.
I'm one of the hated on the National Gepgraphic Channel, one of those emergency preparidness individuals. I am nothing like the radicals depicted, the freeks and paranoid but I am accumulating ways and means of managing my way through without gold. You cant eat or drink gold and barter will be the essential tool of free market whether skill or product. Since time is against me my opportunity will have to be product for my skills are clearly limited.
I might be parinoid about this and I hope that I am and all will pass, but when you read Mises and others they don't appear to believe this is some allusion but a fact that will arrive shortly.
Have a nice day,
G'day Glock27,
"...the whole structure of government will morph into something else and not the something everyone here idealizes."
You got that right, Glock27! We can't win for losing. Unbeknownst to many, virtually anything we do plays right into the hand of those creating a one-world-government.
"You cant eat or drink gold and barter will be the essential tool of free market whether skill or product."
I totally agree.
And, you have a nice day, too, my friend.
