Forget 'Blood Diamonds'

The World Gold Council has just unveiled an initiative whose sole purpose is to combat "conflict gold." Our benevolent and altruistic leaders no doubt care about those who live in war-torn areas and/or under dictatorships, and have no motivation to track, monitor, or outright confiscate privately owned gold in America.
