Getting the State Out of Marriage
"If you're religious, keep in mind, getting the state out of marriage does not necessarily get God out of your marriage. You can still get married in a church, have it blessed, sanctified, and French fried, for all I care. You don't have to pass up any of that. I just don't think your marriage, or anyone else's, has to be blessed by the state."

But you may be surprised to find out that your pastor, priest, minister, rabbi, and other such hypocrites[1], won't perform a marriage ceremony without a license from their true master[2], the god called State[3].
Once your wedding license is signed, you receive 1,049 rights and benefits from the federal government and up to 400 rights and duties from the state you live in.

So simple - don't interferer w/people and their right to make contracts (boy/girl or gay unions) of any kind. Don't interfere with the religious right to get married. Done
Its not about rights.Tax breaks are given because strait people will make more tax payers.They dont want to invest into stock that will not grow,and call it a moral issue.
