He is so right. Our local Border Patrol checkpoint has set up the mobile x-ray machine on the only road we can travel to go to the grocery store. I am so angry. Beyond angry. Frothing with rage. So, I guess I’ll be ordering what I can through the restaurant supply company that delivers down here (they sell fresh produce in addition to dry goods, etc., though I suspect the produce may be pricey) and through Amazon, growing as much produce as possible, adding chickens and goats to the pigs I already have, and for the stuff I need that I can’t get via those means and methods, I’ll be traveling an extra hour (each way) to shop at a small town in the opposite direction on the highway that I can get to without going through a Border Patrol checkpoint. My letters of protest I’m sure will do no good, but I’ll send them anyway, my articles and editorials may or may not be printed in local publications, etc. and so on, but I’ll try any way… in hopes that perhaps others will, too, and maybe a little miracle will happen and we may be able to take back our RIGHT to travel without being subjected to such insanely invasive, illegal actions on the part of government officials. Hey, stop laughing! You’ll spew your beverage of choice on your keyboard. Besides, it could happen, you know, people could actually stand up for themselves against tyranny in numbers that could actually make a difference.
