If you could travel back in time, how useful would you be?
Thomas Thwaites took a similar question to heart when he recently attempted to build, from scratch, a toaster. He mines ore and copper, attempts to create plastic, and actually succeeds in creating a toaster which functions for approximately 5 seconds before melting.
