"All it took to figure that out was to look at the cell towers Will's phone communicated with on Christmas Day. They were all around Moonah and New Town in Hobart. One reader suggested Will must have been enjoying his family's company on Christmas morning, as his phone wasn't active until after midday. Reader sleuthing also identified Will's siblings, an example of how a set of metadata can be cross-referenced with data gathered elsewhere to build up a broader picture of someone's life."
