Lebanon Airport Qualifies for $1m in Federal Funds for Improvements
An unfortunate New Hampshire example of how the federal system for pork is gamed:
Imagine a federally subsidized regional airline that drops their prices to $12 a flight at the end of the year, thus loosing more money, in order to get their passenger trips for the year above 10,000 so they can qualify for an extra $800,000 in federal aide for the airport.
You just can't make this stuff up.
