Michigan House Passes Bolger Plan to Fix Roads

“The state House late Thursday narrowly approved House Speaker Jase Bolger's plan to remove the sales tax on fuel while hiking the gasoline tax, a move Bolger says will raise an extra $1.2 billion a year for roads without increasing taxes.” It will take over a billion more dollars out of the economy. That's bad.
