The Myth of the Rule of Law
Do you point to a "rule of law," believing it the foundation for individual rights? Sixteen years ago John Hasnas published this thought-provoking essay in which he concludes "The time has come for those committed to individual liberty to realize that the establishment of a truly free society requires the abandonment of the myth of the rule of law."
