?President George W Bush's last call in Iraq is an agreement that would create a US-style consumer society in the Mesopotamian sands, a demilitarized client state under benign US protection. The problem is Iraqis aren't buying into it. And without an agreement, and a new US-friendly Iraqi oil law, Bush's $3 trillion Iraq adventure will have been for nothing.? By Pepe Escobar.
