"The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary." ~ H.L. Mencken
The Most Dangerous Job
Submitted by Mark Laythorpe on Fri, 2007-02-09 17:00
"We, as private citizens, not elected officials, judges or law enforcement officers, are an unprotected group. We must fend for ourselves in a country that hinders the rights of law biding, freedom loving people, who just want to be left alone, to live their lives in peace and safety without the government telling us what to do." Trying to live freely, as a sovereign individual unencumbered by government, is THE most dangerous job these days.
