The writer goes on and on, exclaiming "Few saw it coming" and "Few understood the financial impact war would have..." What a crock! Plenty of people predicted this kind of disaster long before the war began, but the MSM didn't bother to venture outside its government-sponsored playpen, and still doesn't.
