Bloomington Teacher Takes Free Speech Fight to Supreme Court

"Deb Mayer is filing an appeal with the high court over whether a teacher's speech is protected. Mayer claims she was fired from her teaching job in Bloomington for commenting on a magazine article about peace demonstrations relating to the war in Iraq ." Can't have her training them to think for themselves, in a public school such things are completely unacceptable.
