US to Israel: Forget Talking to Syria

"The American argument is that even 'exploratory talks' would be considered a prize in Damascus." What, talk to our enemies and try to negotiate peace? That's for sissies. The U.S. will issue ultimatums and pulverize anyone who balks. It's the American Way!
