"The War between the States... produced the foundation for the kind of government we have today:consolidated and absolute, based on the unrestrained will of the majority, with force, threats, and intimidation being the order of the day." ~ Walter Williams
Left and Right Against the Empire
Submitted by Anthony Gregory on Wed, 2010-01-13 04:00
"Despite sharp disagreement on health care and the 'stimulus', we agreed on much. Everyone I spoke to was against the wars (although they 'supported the troops') and against the corporate bailouts, and for civil liberties. Why must we see each other as opponents rather than potential allies? In a society run by corporate elites who trample the values of both progressives and traditional conservatives, couldn’t we align Left and Right against the national security state and bankster capitalism?" Disagree. Its the intelligent versus idiots (left or right) falsely equating subverted opinions with reality. Objective thinkers, with courage must prevail, or we stay on the path to social / economic collapse and anarchy by "corrupt judicial discretion" (rule of man, destroyer of civilizations):
