"First they came for the Communists,
and I didn’t speak up,
because I wasn’t a Communist.
Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn’t speak up,
because I wasn’t a Jew.
Then they came for the Catholics,
and I didn’t speak up,
because I was a Protestant.
Then they came for me,
and by that time there was no one
left to speak up for me."

“How can we celebrate the degradation of liberty?” We have a systemic problem. Napolitano, as have a few others lately, mentions the voting away of rights. We shift further and further away from individual liberty with the approval of many. Lefties want this. They prefer the collective to the individual. This is why the union must – and will – divide, one way or another.
