Obama Issues Government Shutdown Threat

Yeah, yeah, yeah… promises, promises. They always threaten to shut it down, but they never do, do they? They’d hate for the public to see that it is indeed possible to get by without them. I do find it interesting, however, that the administration is seeking to strike fear in the hearts of the elderly and other fiscally dependent people – and, evidently, a flurry of protests to legislators – with a direct warning/threat of “stopped Social Security checks.”
