“HJR22 would place Alaska on record as urging Congress to call a convention of the states to propose constitutional amendments that 'impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, and limit the terms of office of federal government officials.'” Constitutional restraints on the federal government haven't worked thus far, but it's worth a shot.
