"First they came for the Communists,
and I didn’t speak up,
because I wasn’t a Communist.
Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn’t speak up,
because I wasn’t a Jew.
Then they came for the Catholics,
and I didn’t speak up,
because I was a Protestant.
Then they came for me,
and by that time there was no one
left to speak up for me."

Trying to Empathize with the Wall Street Demonstrators
Submitted by Melinda L. Secor on Sun, 2011-10-16 00:00
"It went downhill from there. The demonstrator then said that all student loans should be forgiven, meaning that society should eat the cost, meaning that people who had nothing to do with his decision to take out a student loan and major in bull crap should be punished for his gullibility and lack of inquisitiveness. Not only was he endorsing theft, but he also was endorsing a bailout for himself while demonstrating against the Wall Street bailouts."
