"The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary." ~ H.L. Mencken

"A senior government official with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has expressed great interest in a so-called safety bracelet that would serve as a stun device, similar to that of a police Taser®. According to this promotional video found at the Lamperd Less Lethal, Inc. website, the bracelet would be worn by all airline passengers"
I wonder how many travelers would willing wear one?

A few years ago, I would have asked how many travelers would be willing to be groped and scanned and robbed at the airport. I got my answer. I'm sure you'll have yours soon enough.
Rita,
Unfortunately, I think that answer will be many rather than few.
I can just hear people saying “If you don’t do anything wrong, you have nothing to worry about…”
From the article:
'The Electronic ID Bracelet, as it’s referred to, would be worn by every traveler “until they disembark the flight at their destination.” '
And at some point they will say, "Just leave it on. For the children."
How can we stop them treating us like cattle, when so many people go, "Moo"?
I keep hoping for random cavity searches, just to see if people will put up with that too.
