"The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary." ~ H.L. Mencken
What About Their Hearts?

I think most of us just kind of hope that happiness comes without our help; that they just figure it out on their own, or maybe we don’t really know what it looks like, so how can we show our children how to find it? I would like to advocate that their bodies and minds will be a lot easier to take care of (and they will even pitch in to take care of themselves sooner) if we put taking care of their hearts (emotions) first.
