"...Something is desperately wrong with our legal system when the government can take property from innocent people who have never been charged with a crime..."

I submit this: if I'm still thinking, as the writer from the Washing Times laments, of some criminal state apparatus as "...our legal system...", I'm probably quite a ways yet from acquiring liberty for myself and those around me. It might be YOUR legal system, and I'm certain it is Nita Ghei's legal system (she, after all, writes for the Times. Her job would be in stark jeopardy if she would ever start to think and write like a free individual).

State agents in fancy and very expensive "pursuit" vehicles, and wearing state costumes (and dangerously armed to boot) are now and have always been the most egregious gangsters on the street. Part of what makes them more dangerous than the occasional robber who might accost me with a gun or a knife if I'm stupid enough to traipse into their "territory" is the fact that a plurality of my friends, family and neighbors consider them

    "...our legal system..."

The difference btween the slaves under communism and the slaves under capitalism, is that
the communists slaves always knew they were being lied to. The CAPITAList slave still thinks he knows the truth...............

''There is no such thing, at this date of the world's history, in America, as an independent press. You know it and I know it.

There is not one of you who dares to write your honest opinions, and if you did, you know beforehand that it would never appear in print. I am paid weekly for keeping my honest opinion out of the paper I am connected with. Others of you are paid similar salaries for similar things, and any of you who would be so foolish as to write honest opinions would be out on the streets looking for another job. If I allowed my honest opinions to appear in one issue of my paper, before twenty-four hours my occupation would be gone.

The business of the journalists is to destroy the truth, to lie outright, to pervert, to vilify, to fawn at the feet of mammon, and to sell his country and his race for his daily bread. You know it and I know it, and what folly is this toasting an independent press?

We are the tools and vassals of rich men behind the scenes. We are the jumping jacks, they pull the strings and we dance. Our talents, our possibilities and our lives are all the property of other men. We are intellectual prostitutes.

It has always been a CRIMINAL JUST-"US" system.
Cops have always been robbers they are paid from stolen monies.
