#15 on this list, the "walipini", seems the most intriguing, at least to me. Although it's more work to build than the others listed, when complete you'd have a year-round functional greenhouse and/or a long-term food storage unit that would require very little upkeep. A few of them would likely be enought to sustain a small family's food requirements.
