But Then It Was Too Late
An excerpt of Milton Mayer's They Thought They Were Free: The Germans 1933-45. I just recently finished this book and, while I don't entirely agree with all of the author's views, I highly recommend it for its insights into some of the cultural factors that allow fascism to take hold.
