Dallas County Probation Department May Face Changes after Audit

Whether through laziness or a refusal to enforce foolish rules, the Probation Department is actually in the right on this one. The issue revolves around technical violations of probationers. “Technical violations include testing positive for drugs, missing an appointment or not paying probation fees — but do not include violations for committing new crimes.”
