How World of Warcraft Might Help Head off the Next Pandemic

An accidental pandemic, the result of a software bug, ran for four days in World of Warcraft killing millions. Its spread tracked in many ways with the spread of a pandemic in real life. Can games be used to study and possibly help manage real life pandemics?
