Why Bother to Debate Nonsense?

The Republicans muscled the pathetic non-binding anti-war resolution put forth out of the realm of debate. The refusal to debate the war is insulting, but the greater insult lies in the putting forth of these useless non-binding resolutions, ignoring the vast number of people that want the war stopped, as though voting in favor of a non-binding resolution does anything except create the illusion of effort.
