Whither Capitalism? Only When There is No Government
Submitted by Derek Henson on Sat, 2010-06-26 03:00
"While state capitalism, so called, may involve direct participation in the marketplace by government – as in a fascist state – is there any effective difference when, in a so-called democracy, governments levy taxes, impose regulations and restrictions, create inflation through fiat currency creation, and distort markets by both sanctioning and subsidizing certain businesses and industries at the expense of others?"
