This will be the last article that I will write for a very long time. I want to share with you all my motivations for having written about the topics that I did. I confess that I did it, simply to be a part of a movement that I thought was a growing movement. I had been a part of the leftist anarchist movement for a bit, but it didn't quite fit. For example, I'm very much the individualist....

For so long, I have wondered how to create a new free area. In my last article, I posited that creating and maintaining intentional communities (ICs) would be the key to beginning the enterprise of creating a new anarchist society. However, I would be remiss if I didn't find a way to use our current financial state to fund and maintain an IC. I think I may have done that. First of all, I...
Intentional Communities

There's a question that is on the lips of every anarchist that I know (whether an-cap or an-soc): How will we destroy the state? Whole forums and web sites are dedicated to answering this question. Strike The Root is one of them. What would you all say if I told you that we already had the answer to the question and none but a few even know about it? The answer lies in the word "community...

By now, I'm sure that you will have seen the ubiquitous video of the Marines killing an Iraqi. Now, before you say, 'Well, the Iraqi was trying to kill them' or 'That's the reality of war,' I want to let you in on a little secret. This isn't just going to happen in Iraq . Yes, after a few years in Iraq , killing and becoming hardened to killing, these same troops will come here to enforce the...

Grandpa was some old guy that my mom took in off of the streets. We weren't related in any kind of way. He was an old drunkard that cleaned bricks for his booze money and collected Social Security. I don't say this to disparage him, but to give you some background as to who and what he was.

'Today's rebels are tomorrow's aristocrats.' ~ Frank Herbert Before I begin this column, I want everyone to visit the forums of Anti-state.com and view this thread. I post there under the nickname 'Anarch, Now and Forever.' Now, let's chat for a minute.
F**k the Law: Illegal Concealed Carry

I will admit openly that I carry weapons, both openly and concealed. I will also admit to having done this most of my life. Even as a child, I carried knives, sticks and even homemade nunchaku to defend myself. I grew up in a housing project in Kansas City , and while violence wasn't necessarily more prevalent there, it happened often enough to warrant protecting myself.

I have studied many religions in my search for truth. In my searches, I embraced a few. I was a nominal Christian for many years and converted to Islam about six years ago. Of course, I have left all of those religions behind, in my never-ending quest for truth. However, there is one "religion" that I studied that seemed to contain more truth than any other. That way is Taoism.
